Coaching is about getting you results. But let’s be clear, it’s not for everyone.

Who is it for?

I ONLY work with highly motivated people who are DESPERATE for a TRANSFORMATION in their health, fitness and life.

These are people with BIG goals who are willing to do ANYTHING to accomplish them. And once we achieve those goals, their lives are forever transformed.

My clients go from obese, couch potato, junk food addicts, to living fit, health-conscious, active lifestyles at their ideal body weight. More importantly, they’re healthier and happier than ever.

I work with people on the edge. They’re usually severely overweight or obese with serious health issues (pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc.).

These are people who are ready for a LIFE TRANSFORMATION. Ready to take charge of their health, get their body back, and most importantly, to feel confident and alive again!

Here at PersonalFitness.com, my primary focus is getting you results.

This doesn’t require metabolic testing, eating for your blood type or figuring out your body type. These are just fancy buzzwords designed to impress and confuse you.

I’m here to help you simplify your health and fitness journey, which has gotten to be a complicated mess.

Health is simple. Fitness is simple. Healthy eating is simple. So if you want to develop a health and fitness lifestyle, learn to keep it simple.

If it’s not simple, it’s not maintainable!

So allow me to help you get back to the basics of a healthy energized lifestyle:

EAT FOOD – Mostly plants
MOVE – More than you sit everyday
SLEEP – At least 7 hours each night
MEDITATE – Your stress away
PLAY – To bring more joy into your life

It’s really that simple! And anybody who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something you really don’t need.

Now keep in mind that if something is simple to do, it is also simple NOT to do! Case in point, in my personal and professional life I currently work with several coaches.

Why do I work with all these coaches? It’s very simple: they help me to focus on putting first things first.

Let’s take my tennis game as an example. I was working with my tennis coach the other day and he gave me a short ball. Now my first instinct was to run up to the net and go for the SMASH! After all, that’s what I see the Pros do on TV.

I’m sure you can guess what happened. Yes, I dumped the ball into the bottom of the net. My coach looked at me and said, you know, isn’t it better to win with an ugly shot than to lose with a spectacular failure?

Point well taken, I don’t always have to go for an outright winner. Just get the ball back into play and prepare for the next shot.

This is exactly what I teach my clients!

Forget about weight loss and the other quick fixes you see on television. Weight loss, health and a fit sexy body is nothing more than the consequence of adopting a few simple fundamental behaviors and practicing them daily.

WHY DO YOU NEED A COACH?

Very simply, a good coach helps you to get results faster.

Over the past twenty years I’ve worked with a lot of different clients. And I can honestly say that the people who get the best results are the ones who work with a professional coach.

Why try to figure things out for yourself when someone else has already figured it out. If someone else has been where you want to go wouldn’t it be easier just to have him/her guide you and show you the way instead of trying to figure it out yourself?

The truth is you can figure it out for yourself; it just takes longer. Believe me, I know. I’ve been in the gym almost every day for the past 25 years. I see the people who get results and those who don’t.

Those who get results are ready to do whatever it takes AND they’re coachable.

ARE YOU READY?

Working with a coach is very different from working with a trainer.

When I work with clients one-on-one in the gym, I make them do what they need to do whether they feel like it or not. In a coaching situation, however, I can’t make you do anything. You have to want results badly enough that you’re willing to follow through on your commitments.

That’s why I only work with clients who are READY to get the results they say they want.

What does it mean to be ready?

You have to have a goal that is BIG enough to transform your entire life when you achieve it. AND you have to desperately want to achieve it that you’re willing to do WHATEVER it takes.

Furthermore, you have to be willing to INVEST your time, energy and money (yes, I did say it!) to get results.

Think about all the big investments you’ve ever made in your life. Have they not all required your time, energy and money?

So you’re READY, only when you’re ready to make a big investment in yourself. This is your way of saying FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Why is this important? I’ve worked with people in the past that weren’t willing to invest the time, energy or money into getting the results they said they wanted. And obviously, they weren’t successful because they weren’t ready to do what it takes to get results.

If you could get results by continuing to do exactly what you’re doing now, then you wouldn’t need me or anybody else. But you can’t!

To get something different you have to be willing to do something different.

MEET JOANNE

I first met Dr. Del over ten years ago and together we have completely transformed my life. I’ve lost almost 80 pounds and kept it off.
